Provider-guided medical weight management

Weight Management

Begin with an online health assessment reviewed by a licensed provider. If treatment is clinically appropriate, your provider will develop an individualized plan that may include a GLP-1 medication, lifestyle guidance, and ongoing follow-up.

Every plan is individualized.

Treatment is not guaranteed. A licensed provider determines whether treatment is appropriate and develops your care plan based on your health history, current medications, and individual needs.

Questions

Questions, answered

Is this program right for me?

That’s exactly what your online health assessment determines. A licensed provider reviews your health profile and decides whether treatment is appropriate for you — or tells you honestly if it isn’t the right fit. Treatment is not guaranteed.

What medications are used?

If a licensed provider determines treatment is clinically appropriate, your individualized plan may include a GLP-1 medication prescribed by your provider and prepared by a licensed U.S. pharmacy. Your provider determines what — if anything — is appropriate based on your clinical evaluation. Compounded medications, when prescribed, are not FDA-approved.

Do I need labs to start?

Not necessarily. Lab testing is not required to get started, although your provider may recommend it based on your individual evaluation. When testing is ordered through your care, results are organized for review by your licensed provider. The technology does not diagnose conditions, recommend treatment, or replace a licensed provider’s clinical judgment.

How is this billed?

Care is delivered inside your Meridian membership. Medication, when appropriate, is billed separately at member pricing. You’re never charged until a provider approves your plan.

Meridian Vitality provides the customer-facing technology and support experience. Telehealth services are provided by independent licensed medical providers, who make all clinical decisions and prescribe only when clinically appropriate. GLP-1 medications are prescription medications. Compounded medications, when prescribed, are not FDA-approved; the FDA does not review compounded medications for safety, effectiveness, or manufacturing quality before they are marketed. Individual results vary and are not guaranteed.

Start with your health, not a purchase.

Complete your online health assessment and a licensed provider will review it — and tell you honestly whether treatment is appropriate.
